Restoration Enterprises Auto Loan Assistance Program

The REAL assistance program is how we get cars into the hands of people who need them. Here's a quick look at how it happens.

1. We receive a referral from CAlWORKs, the Good News Rescue Mission, Program/Transition house or from a local church, saying:"Jane is in need a a car to get to and from work."

2.. Jane fills out an application, goes through a budgeting class, and on the basis of her current credit history, and ability to repay the loan; Jane is either approved or denied.

3. If approved, Jane will choose a car from The Transportation Station's lot in Anderson that fits within the price range for which her loan is approved.

4. Jane then purchases the car and begins making her payments. After a one to three year period of time. Jane is the proud owner of the car and has successfully completed the program.

5. During the duration of the loan, we keep in contact with Jane to help her in any way we can as she works to rebuild her life.

Donations Benefit Everyone (e-mail Dave for donation information)

You benefit because you have helped make it possible for someone to get or maintain a job by donating the car they will soon be driving. You also can claim the value of the vehicle as a tax deduction. And you can designate a "tithe" from the sale of the car to your local church.

Society benefits because more people will be working at a job and working for life restoration.

Church's and Charities benefit because if they donate a vehicle, 1/3 of the net sale will be donated back to the donor.

Workers benefit because they can purchase an affordable car that allows them to get to and from work without a struggle.

We Benefit because your donation makes it possible for this program to exist.
